Are you ready for one of the largest national Rover events in 2017?

About the Event

Date: 10th - 12th March
Hosted by: NUI Galway Rover Society
Location: Renville Park, Oranmore Co. Galway

Each year, for the last three years, Rover Clubs & Societies have hosted an intervarsities weekend in different locations across Ireland. The weekend is technically all about testing teams and crowning a winner, but it's really about getting a chance to meet up and have a bit of craic. This year we're putting a twist on the event, we're inviting any Rover in Ireland to attend the event.

Whether you are an active Rover crew that can submit a number of teams, or just a lone Rover that wants to come along and form a team on the day, you're promoised a weekend of fun, freindship and adventure. You don't have be stage 9 in all of the adventure skills to compete, the event is designed around having fun while getting down and dirty. Each team may have up to 4 Rovers for the competition.

So throw the date in your calander, create that annoying Facebook chat with your friends and book the bus.

This website will serve as the infomation pack for the event. Check back for updates.

Programme

Friday & Sunday are your time to kick back and chill, Saturday is your challenge day. Your team of four people will move between a number of bases. Think of a fun Phoenix for Rovers? None of the tasks will require considerable background skills, so it will be accessible to everyone.
